The pastor must integrate his ministry vision and emphasis into the church’s existing programs, which include weekly activities such as worship, Sunday school, member fellowships, and small group programs, as well as prayer ministry, marriage counseling, discipleship training, youth ministry, visitation, and community outreach. Additionally, the pastor is encouraged to develop new initiatives to foster the growth of the ministry.
The position also requires the pastor to recruit, equip, and lead a network of servant-leaders serving in the youth ministries, with volunteer leaders ranging from teenagers to adults. The pastor will be responsible for fostering effective communication with both the young people and their families, while partnering with all pastors to ensure the spiritual needs of the youth are met.
